Sometimes we feel like weâre forgottenâas if the world could go on without us. It might not be intentional, but weâre treated like weâre invisible from our friends, family, spouse, co-workersâŚ
And while we know logically and mentally that thatâs not true, our emotions can be slow to grasp and hold on to truth.
Here is a list of Bible verses from my personal Bible that have helped me remember that I am not forgotten by the One who matters most: God.
He has made promise after promise to remember us, and I hope that these verses encourage you that you are not forgotten or invisible.
All verses are from the New American Standard Bible.
Exodus 4:11â12
But the LORD said to him, âWho has made the human mouth? Or who makes anyone unable to speak or deaf, or able to see or blind? Is it not I, the LORD? Now then go, and I Myself will be with your mouth, and instruct you in what you are to say.â
Deut 4:31
For the LORD your God is a compassionate God; He will not abandon you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant with your fathers which He swore to them.
1 Samuel 16:7
But the LORD said to Samuel, âDo not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God does not see as man sees, since man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.â
Job 28:23â24
God understands its way, And He knows its place. For He looks to the ends of the earth; He sees everything under the heavens.
Isaiah 43:1

Matthew 6:31â32

Matthew 10:30â31
And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Galatians 1:15
But when He who had set me apart even from my motherâs womb and called me through His grace was pleased.
Hebrews 4:14â16
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 6:10
For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the saints.
